GOODBYE!
by Eric Bateman
She said goodbye and that was it
packed up her clothes and took the kids
got in the car they drove away
and as I watched they didn't wave
Now I'm alone, but that's okay,
with a heating bill I cannot pay.
Now It's cold, but I'm alright
I'll go to sleep without their light
I can feel her hesitate as she forgives me
I can feel these words as they break her heart
I wake up, it's been four days
Look at my clock, it's half past 8
It's dark outside, and dark within
as if my life has reached an end
Turn off my phone and lock the door
forget the past and dream no more
I find the tub and let it fill
I slit my wrists, take sleeping pills
I can feel her hesistate as she forgives me
I can feel these words as they break her heart
Too late I've passed on to better things
This hate is behind us
Too state the obvious one more time
This hate will divide us
Heaven tomorrow or hell today
I guess I decided
Our fates no longer bound
Ambulance.. I'm on my way
they crack my chest and stick my vein
open my eyes, stare in her face
I dissapear she calls my name
Here I am, I've gone away
Here I am, I've gone awa
Here I am, I've gone aw
Here I am, I've gone a
Here I am, I've gone
Here I am, I've go
Here I am, I've
Here I am, I
Here I a
Here
